Burgundy as a trend colour
In this Lookbook, discover how deep burgundy shades bring passion, elegance, and timeless love – the trend color of the season. Add an extra touch by incorporating fruits like grapes, figs, and pomegranates: playful, surprising, and symbolic of abundance.
Create contrast with soft buttermilk yellow accents, for example with delicate Vanda orchids, and combine them with warm autumn shades such as rust, terracotta, and deep orange. Add texture and movement with amaranthus and lotus seeds, and let candlelight in brass or glass create the intimate, cozy atmosphere every couple dreams of.
Be inspired by the creations of Grace & Flowers and translate these trends into your own style.

Grieving in Autumn
Autumn Softness
Autumn does not have to feel heavy or sombre. With flowers such as hydrangea, dianthus, waxflower and graceful grasses, you create a harmonious and comforting composition that perfectly suits moments of farewell and remembrance.
Hydrangea: Brings emotion, gratitude and comfort. Ideal to provide solace at a funeral or memorial service.
Dianthus: Symbolises love and respect. With it, you show in your arrangement that someone is honoured and missed.
Grasses, as well as amaranthus and lotus pods: Emphasise transience and the cycle of life, while adding lightness and movement to your design.
Waxflower: Adds refinement and highlights patience and the cherishing of memories.
This inspiration comes from the creation of Josef Dirr, the current German champion, which is also featured in the latest issue of florieren!. Use his style as a source of inspiration to develop your own signature in floral design.

Emphasise the cycle of life, without it feeling sombre or heavy.

Glue the cardboard strip onto the corrugated wire ring. Then wrap the cardboard all around with corn leaves, securing them here and there with staples. Wrap floral wires with tape. Use them to create a holder and attach it to the wire ring. Finally, bind the flowers radially into the frame you’ve created, forming a beautiful bouquet.
